India’s top-seeded squash player Anahat Singh booked her spot in the World Junior Squash Championship quarterfinals after routing Malaysia’s Doyce Lee Ye San in straight games on Thursday. The pre-quarterfinal clash ended swiftly with Singh dismantling her opponent 11-4, 11-8, 11-3.
She clinched bronze at this tournament last year. Her next hurdle in the last eight is Egypt’s 5/8 seed Habiba Rizk. Rizk secured her quarterfinal berth by defeating America’s Charlotte J in a tight four-game encounter.
