Heavy Rain Alert

The Meteorological Department says that heavy rains can be seen in many states of South India in the coming two days. Apart from this, according to the Meteorological Department,

Heavy rains are expected in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep, and Karnataka from today until 48 hours.

An alert has also been issued regarding rain in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. At the same time, light rain can also be seen in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.

Given the torrential rains in Bengaluru, a holiday has been declared in all schools and colleges today (Wednesday), October 16. At the same time, officegoers have been advised to work from home.

The Meteorological Department issued a red alert on October 16 regarding heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

At the same time, an orange alert has been issued in Kerala, South and Coastal Karnataka, and a yellow warning has been issued in North Karnataka Goa and Konkan.

Delhi Weather Forecast

A mild cold has started being felt in the morning and night in Delhi. If the Meteorological Department is to be believed, a drop in the minimum temperature can be recorded in Delhi-NCR.

At the same time, the sky will remain clear in Delhi throughout this week, and clouds will remain moving.

According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can be recorded between 33 to 35 degrees Celsius throughout this week, and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 16 to 17 degrees Celsius.

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, during the next 24 hours, heavy rains may occur in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, southern interior Karnataka and coastal Andhra Pradesh.

At the same time, light rains are expected in Telangana, Konkan,n and Goa. Light rains may also occur in Northeast India, Sikkim, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, South-East Rajasthan, Lakshadweep Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
