Realme P4 Lite 5G : Realme has officially announced the Indian debut of the Realme P4 Lite 5G, scheduled for March 19, 2026, at 12 noon. This sixth entry in the P4 series aims to set a new endurance benchmark with a 7000mAh battery, a significant upgrade over the 6,300mAh cell found in the 4G variant launched just last month.
The smartphone moves away from the square camera island of the 4G model, adopting a vertically stacked “Dual-Matrix” camera setup.
To maintain thermal efficiency during heavy tasks, Realme has integrated a 5,300 sq mm airflow vapor chamber cooling system, a feature usually reserved for higher-priced gaming devices.
Performance and Durability
Under the hood, the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset. Realme is banking on long-term reliability, guaranteeing a “four-year zero-lag” experience and providing a six-year battery health assurance.
The software side is equally forward-looking, with the phone expected to be among the first in its class to ship with Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.
The hardware is wrapped in a “ColorPop” dual-tone design, measuring 8.4mm in thickness. Despite its slim profile, it carries the MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, ensuring it can survive accidental drops and harsh conditions.
Market Competition and Pricing
The Realme P4 Lite 5G enters a crowded sub-₹15,000 market, directly challenging incumbents like the Samsung Galaxy M16 5G and the Redmi Note 15 5G.
While the Samsung competitor relies on a 5000mAh battery and a 90Hz AMOLED, Realme is prioritizing raw battery capacity and a faster 144Hz refresh rate to lure Gen-Z users and heavy media consumers.
| Feature | Realme P4 Lite 5G | Samsung Galaxy M16 5G | Redmi Note 15 5G |
| Battery | 7000mAh | 5000mAh | 5520mAh |
| Display | 144Hz LCD | 90Hz AMOLED | 120Hz AMOLED |
| Chipset | Dimensity 6300 | Dimensity 6300 | Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 |
| Durability | MIL-STD-810H / IP64 | IP54 | IP65 |
While official pricing remains under wraps until the Flipkart-exclusive launch, industry insiders expect the 6GB+128GB variant to be positioned slightly above the ₹12,000 mark, filling the gap between the base P4 Lite 4G and the standard P4 5G.
