This year’s session carries unprecedented weight as total unique registrations for JEE Main 2026 have officially crossed the 1.6 million mark.
This surge represents a significant jump from the 1.3 million applicants seen in 2025, intensifying the battle for approximately 63,000 seats across NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs).
The city intimation slip serves as a preliminary document to help students, particularly those in remote areas, finalize their logistics. It specifies the date of the exam and the assigned city, though the exact venue address and shift timings remain reserved for the formal admit card.
